The Marketing Department:
The Marketing department serves as a primary growth engine for all of PracticeTek’s business verticals. We are the fuel that drives customer acquisition, conversion and retention through increasing brand awareness and promoting PracticeTek’s products and services. The Career Opportunity:
We are seeking an innovative SEO Specialist to plan and oversee the implementation of our marketing strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase visibility for our brand. You will work closely with the content, web development, and marketing teams to ensure that all SEO best practices are adhered to across our digital platforms.
To ensure success as an SEO Specialist, you should demonstrate extensive knowledge of organic search, Ai search generative experiences and preferred experience in a related industry. An outstanding SEO Specialist will be someone whose expertise results in optimized marketing strategies and increased profitability.
Areas of Accountability:
SEO Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive qualified traffic, and achieve business objectives that can be attributed to your efforts
Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for ranking improvement and content creation. Optimize existing content and uncover new content opportunities.
On-Page Optimization: Implement on-page SEO techniques including meta tags, internal linking, keyword optimization, and schema markup to ensure all website content is optimized for search engines.
Technical SEO: Work closely with the web development team to ensure the website is optimized for speed, mobile responsiveness, crawlability, and indexability. Address technical SEO issues like site structure, page speed, and XML sitemaps.
Content Optimization: Collaborate with the content team to optimize content for search intent, including blog posts, landing pages, and other digital assets. Provide guidance on content creation and updates based on SEO best practices.
Link Building: Develop and implement a link-building strategy to acquire high-quality backlinks from relevant sites, improving domain authority and search rankings.
Analytics & Reporting: Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track, analyze, and report on SEO performance on weekly and monthly basis. Provide actionable insights to the marketing team based on data analysis.
Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze SEO performance of competitors to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
SEO Trends & Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure the company’s strategies are current and effective.
Competencies for Success
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Search Console) and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they pertain to SEO.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Google Analytics Certification, or SEO-specific certifications.
Experience with CMS: Experience working with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, webflow.io)
Experience in Industry: Previous experience in healthcare or a related field is a plus.
