The RCM Department: For us at PracticeTek, executing RCM means understanding customer needs and becoming excellent at meeting them; we ensure practitioners are paid quickly and accurately.
As the RCM Onboarding Supervisor, you will oversee the onboarding process for EHR clients purchasing our RCM services. This role involves managing a team of onboarding specialists, ensuring efficient client engagement, and providing consultative guidance on best practices for EHR setup and RCM processes. You will ensure clients are onboarded within the established time commitments and are set up for mutual success, which includes process and behavior changes within contractual and regulatory requirements. The measurement of success is time-to-go live, NPS/transaction client survey results, and retention rates. Job functions include and are not limited to:
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of RCM onboarding specialists, including assigning projects, monitoring performance, and conducting regular evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.
Coordinate with sales, AR management, and accounting teams to align onboarding strategies, timing, and contractual requirements of each engagement.
Serve as a point of escalation for clients during their onboarding phase and transition to operations, including customer satisfaction surveys and remediation.
Educate the onboarding team on best practices for EHR setup and RCM processes to enhance RCM efficiency and compliance. Develop training materials and ongoing coaching to ensure onboarding specialists can advise clients on workflow optimizations to maximize revenue.
Other ad hoc activities and projects as assigned.
Our ideal candidate has the following:
Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years’ experience in Revenue Cycle Management, including knowledge of billing, common denials, posting, electronic transaction formats, and overall practice management in a small practice setting
3+ years experience in a client-facing role with proven ability to manage client onboarding/implementation and to build strong professional relationships in a client
2+ years in a supervisory role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting data, leading discussions, and delivering recommendations with strong interpersonal skills to navigate challenging conversations and build trust with clients
Advanced knowledge of healthcare billing software/clearinghouses and EHR/PM platforms
Strong working knowledge of clearinghouse and payer portal enrollments
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate reporting
