RCM Department Overview: The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) department helps doctors get paid for their services. From clearinghouse enrollments to patient accounts, to insurance claims, our RCM team members help practices grow and succeed financially.
Your Career Opportunity:
The Revenue Cycle Success Manager will lead and manage a team of Revenue Cycle Managers with oversight of accountability for the day-to-day functions of their respective PracticeTek revenue cycle management team to ensure we operate as a best-in-class RCM SaaS solution, including timely and accurate claims processing, payment posting, AR management and reporting. The ideal candidate will excel in managing and developing high-performing teams, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance with a specialized focus on customer success and satisfaction.
This position is remote with occasional travel required.
Areas of Accountability:
- Lead and develop a high-performing revenue cycle team, focusing on customer success, professional growth, team cohesion, and motivation.
- Implement and drive strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of revenue cycle operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and IT, to implement and optimize processes and systems.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation within the team.
- Serve as a change agent, driving and managing change initiatives to improve organizational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to applicable SLAs, OLAs, and SOPs.
- Serve as a point of advanced escalation.
- Review and audit customer escalations to identify trends and prevent future escalations of the same or similar variety.
- Manage team timecards, PTO, productivity, and performance.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Competencies for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or a related field, or relevant work experience in leadership, management, and/or revenue cycle management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management or a related field within the healthcare industry.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
- Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in revenue cycle management software, terminology, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Exceptional communication and people skills.
